Copyright holders in Romania will benefit from an increase in their monthly revenues, said the Finance Minister Darius Valcov.

Writers, journalists, actors and all those who get revenues from copyright will receive additional earnings when and if the new Fiscal Code law is enforced.

Thanks to lower social contributions, a person who makes monthly RON 2,000 (EUR 449) will receive an additional net revenue of RON 107 (EUR 24) in 2016 and RON 138 (EUR 31) in 2017.

Darius Valcov presented this information on his Facebook page, where he compared the revenue evolutions based on the new Fiscal Code draft law.
