Claas sells EUR 48.5 mln of harvesters, tractors in Romania
The company's target is to reach a 40 percent market share for harvesters and a 20 percent market share for tractors in Romania, a market that offers more opportunities for growth in the agricultural segment than in the saturated Western European markets.
Claas had a turnover of EUR 3.3 billion worldwide in 2011. The company is a family business founded in 1913, with corporate headquarters in Harsewinkel, Westphalia, Germany. The company employs more than 9,000 workers worldwide.
