Vasile Secara, chairman of the board with Romania's passenger railways operator CFR on Monday, February 2, resigned from his position.

Iosif Szentes, another member of the Executive Board, replaced Secara, reports local Mediafax.

The former chairman of the board had taken the job in April last year. He has not yet revealed his reasons for leaving office.

The Ministry of Transport owns CFR Calatori, which posted a EUR 371 million turnover and EUR 92.5 million losses in 2013.
