Bucharest subway operator Metrorex estimates it will spend EUR 478 million on investments this year after the budget amendment in October, up by 12.7% compared to the amount included in the company’s budget published in March.

The operator’s wage bill will also increase by 1.7% compared to the March budget version. The salary costs now stand at EUR 48.6 million, compared to EUR 47.7 million earlier this year.

The total revenues, which are equal to the total expenses, are estimated at over EUR 159 million for this year, up from EUR 154 million in March.
