Best months for foreign investments in Romania in 2014

The foreign direct investments (FDI) in Romania totaled EUR 2.12 billion in the first 11 months of 2014, down 11% compared to the same period last year, when they reached EUR 2.38 billion, according to data published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

The FDI increased in November 2014 with EUR 531 million month-on- month, making it the highest monthly increase during the year.

The best months for investments over the past year were, apart from November, April, with EUR 306 million, and February, with EUR 288 million.

The months with the lowest FDI performance were January, with EUR 38 million, October, with EUR 80 million, and September, with EUR 87 million.
