Banks in Romania required to display ATM transaction fees
Banks in Romania have only one month left to implement a system that shows all the fees a bank charges when one withdraws money from an ATM.
The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) decided last year that all banks need to put this system in place by March 2015.
Most banks currently fail to comply with the new rule, reports local Capital.ro. They apply higher fees for cash withdrawal with credit cards issued by other banks, and most consumers don’t know about it.
