Cezar Scarlat has been appointed partner with the private equity fund Abris Capital, following his positive results as the company’s managing director for Romania and Bulgaria.

"We have made large investments in the last two years by purchasing courier companies Cargus, Urgent Courier and three other smaller players, enhancing our presence on the courier market. We are eager to continue our investments in the region, having EUR 450 million available funding, and we are already in the process of concluding new transactions, many of them in partnership with local entrepreneurs seeking capital to develop and expand their businesses," said Cezar Scarlat, partner and head of Abris Romania and Bulgaria, cited by local Wall-street.ro.

Before joining Abris, Cezar Scarlat was responsible for Romania within the private equity investor Bridgepoint Capital and Nomura Investment Bank.
