Siemens Romania has finalized the takeover of software producer LMS România SRL Braşov, which will be re-branded as Siemens Industry Software. This was part of an international deal under which Siemens AG acquired LMS International from Belgium at end-2012.

Siemens plans to continue to invest in its center in Brasov, where it employs 200 people, as well as elsewhere in Romania. Siemens Industry Software supplies hardware, software and engineering services for testing mechanic systems user by car market, airplane makers and energy equipment.
