Short films from Cannes and kids movies screening at Romanian NexT Film Festival

The sixth edition of the NexT International Film Festival will be held in Bucharest between March 28 and April 1, 2012. The festival is to include movies for children and short films from the Cannes competition among others, which will be screened at Scala and Studio cinema in the capital city.

The festival’s competition section will bring  short films from around the world to Bucharest. According to the festival's artistic director, Andrei Gorzo, this year’s competition will include ‘Inferno’ directed by Carlos Conceiçaõ, and ‘Girl’ directed by Fijona Jonuzi.

The NexT International Film Festival was created in memory of the Romanian film director Cristian Nemescu and sound designer Andrei Toncu, both killed in a car accident.
