Romania's inflation revised down to 1.6% from 3.5%
The National Prognosis Commission decreased their estimation of the annual inflation for Romania in 2014 at 1.6%, revising its forecast of 3.5% made in May, according to the ‘2014-2018 medium-term forecast’ document published by the Commission.
The estimation of the average annual rate was also revised from 2.2% to 1.2%. The inflation for the end of 2015 is estimated at 2.9%, while the average annual rate at 2.2%, and in 2016, at 2.8%, respectively 3%, according to the same document.
However, the National Bank of Romania estimates the inflation around 1.5% at the end of this year, and at 2.2% at the end of 2015.
