Romanian fashion designer Tina Olari became famous worldwide after Spanish model Mireia Lalaguna was crowned Miss World 2015 wearing a dress of her design.

The 22-year old Romanian from Bistrita, who moved to Barcelona a few years ago, had her best year in 2015. On Saturday, one of her dresses was admired by close to one billion spectators who watched the Miss World final in Sanya, China.

Mireia Lalaguna also wore Tina Olari’s dresses in the Miss Catalunya contest, and then in the Miss World Spain competition.

“It’s an honor for me to see now, in photos published everywhere in the world, the Miss World winner dressed in my wonderful creation,” Tina Olari said to local newspaper Bistriteanul.ro.
