Romanian Central Bank's foreign currency reserves down in July by EUR 819 million
In July, the Central Bank foreign reserves registered incomes of EUR 1.3 billion, representing changes in foreign exchange reserves set up by credit institutions, the European Commission account supply, supplying Public Finance Ministry accounts and incomes from international reserve management.
At the same time outgoings from foreign currency reserves were of EUR 2.11 billion, representing changes in foreign exchange minimum reserves set up by credit institutions, payments of interest and public debt denominated in foreign currencies.
The gold reserves remained at 103.7 tons with a value of EUR 4.41 billion.
The international reserves of Romania at July 31, 2012 were EUR 36.55 billion compared with EUR 37.12 billion at June 30, 2012.
