New ferry line connects Romania's Constanta to Batumi & Ilyichevsk ports

A Black Sea ferry line that will link Romania’s Constanta port to Batumi (Georgia) and Ilyichevsk (Ukraine) ports, will be inaugurated today, October 16, according to the Romanian Ministry of Transport. Officials from Romania, Georgia and Ukraine will attend the launching event.

“During the official ceremony, the Ro-Ro/Rail/Passenger ferry Greifswald will arrive in the port of Constanta from Ilyichevsk and will start its journey to Batumi,” reads the ministry’s statement.
