German/Romanian consortium wins contract for water system work in Maramureș, Northern Romania
According to the EU's Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the contract covers construction work for water and sewage pipelines, work related to water-distribution pipelines, water-main refurbishment and sewer construction work.
The winning consortium also includes Electroechipament Industrial, Intellinstal and Wurp Prest. Public water utility Vital SA is 87 percent owned by the Baia Mare Municipality. Eight offers were received in the tender and it appears European funding will be used.
