Egypt buys more Romanian wheat

The Supply General Authority (GASC) in Egypt has bought 180,000 tons of wheat from Romania, which should deliver the products on March 1-10.

Egypt has bought 120,000 tons of wheat from the Romanian company Ameropa and other 60,000 tons of wheat from the Romanian firm Nidera, said Mamdouh Abdel Fattah, GASC vice president, reports local Agerpres.

The average price has been USD 236.25 (EUR 206) per tonne and includes the transport.

GASC has also bought 120,000 wheat tons from France.

Egypt is a regular buyer of Romanian wheat.
