Brazilian Saulo Spaolanse is the new country president of Schneider Electric Romania, the company has announced. He will replace David Nicholl, who went to lead Schneider's operations in Sweden.

Franz Rattenstetter (in picture) returns to the helm of the five-star hotel Crown Plaza in Bucharest, after having headed the unit between 2001 and 2007. Rattenstetter is the new GM of the hotel in the portfolio of Ana Hotels, a company owned by Romanian businessman George Copos.

Swiss Daniel Bach (in picture) will be the new general manager of Holcim Romania from the beginning of April, replacing Markus Wirth, who will end his six-year mandate at the helm of the company. Wirth will stay president of the company's Board. He will also remain head of the Swiss - Romania Chamber of Commerce until March and member of the Foreign Investors Council (FIC).

Yilmaz Yildirimlar, the general manager of the Radisson Blu hotel in Bucharest, has been appointed district director with Rezidor for South – East Europe. He will coordinate six hotels in Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria.

Tomohiro Nakashima is the new general manager of Sony Romania, having replaced Taiju Ishikawa from the beginning of February. Nakashima, 38, is the country head Eastern Balkans & Romania, Sony Central and Southeast Europe and will also supervise the Romanian activities.

Tzafrir Granat, the marketing manager of dairy company Muller Dairy Romania, has been promoted general manager of the company. He has replaced Jacob Katz, who will hold another position in the mother company CBC Group.

Slawomir Nizalowski is the new general manager of Mars Romania. He will replace Tomasz Pawlowski, who has become general manager of Mars' subsidiary in Poland, the company has announced.
