Chinese Sunowe invests EUR 40 mln in Central Romania solar park

Sunowe, a Chinese manufacturer of photovoltaic cell and module, has invested EUR 40 million in a 25 MW solar park developed on a 50-hectare plot in Sibiu county, Romania, reports local business daily Ziarul Financiar.

The investment in this park is part of the company’s strategy to diversify its activities and to shape an outlet for its products.

The solar park in Sibiu is the largest park the company has built outside China, writes Ziarul Financiar.

Sunowe’s portfolio includes photovoltaic projects in several countries in Europe, including Germany and Spain.
