The Bucharest District 3 City Hall will re-start towing illegally parked cars on May 3. The fee to recover a towed car can exceed EUR 108.

The City Hall will manage the towing with its own staff, but only after a Road Police officer would write a towing ticket, according to the City Hall in District 3.

Towed cars illegally parked on streets in the district will be taken to the parking lot on 4 Releului St. Car owners can call 0219543 to check if their car was towed.

Car towing has been on and off in Bucharest in the last couple of years, with district city halls independently deciding whether to enforce it or not.
