Bucharest District 1 develops mixed-use building

Bucharest’s District 1 Market Administration wants to invest in a building that will host retail areas, a market, offices and a kindergarten on Mures street in northwestern Bucharest, in a project worth EUR 12.6 million (VAT included).

The public administration will award the contract through an open tender. The winner will have three years to complete work from attribution date.

The constructors can submit offers by April 8, reports local Mediafax.

The District 1 Market Administration is part of the District 1 City Hall and manages eight agro markets.

In 2007, the District 1 City Hall announced that a company which had leased the Mures market for 49 years started the modernization work there, with an investment worth EUR 25 million.
