Belgian group Vlerick opens EUR 30 mln business park in Brasov
Belgian group Vlerick has opened a business park in Brasov, Romania, with an area of 24,000 sqm, following an investment of EUR 30 million, according to Mediafax newswire.
Brasov Business Park is developed by the company Ravensdale Investments, a Vlerick Group subsidiary. Only the first phase of the project has been completed. The second phase will be launched if the first space will be fully leased and the financing will be secured, said the president and owner group, Philippe Vlerick. After completing the second stage, the business center will have a total built area of 62,000 sqm.
Vlerick Group has industrial and financial activities in the countries of Eastern and Western Europe, in India and the US. In Romania, the group is represented by UCO Tesatura Giurgiu, BMT Iasi, and several real estate companies, such as Royal Land, Brainvest and Ravensdale Investments, with projects in Ploiesti and Brasov.
