What do foreign tourists like about Bucharest?

29 January 2015

Foreign tourists who choose to spend their holidays in Bucharest enjoy the city’s nightlife, the low prices and that they’re allowed to smoke in all bars and clubs.

“Foreigners who arrive in Bucharest, especially Germans, Austrians, Swiss and Spaniards like the nightlife and the fact that smoking is allowed in all clubs and restaurants, which doesn’t happen in their countries,” Ana Goicea, manager within Cocktail Holidays agency, told local Mediafax.

Foreigners also enjoy the low price of beer and the big number and diversity of clubs in Bucharest’s Old Town. They enjoy the Romanian food: the sarmale (minced meat in cabbage rolls) are among their favorites.
