US, Canadian, Austrian, Israeli investors interested in regional hospital project in Romania
Health Minister Attila Cseke said last week that the ministry plans to build six regional emergency hospitals, through public-private partnerships. They will be located in Cluj-Napoca, Craiova, Iasi, Targu Mures, Timisoara and Bucharest. The hospitals will have 700-900 beds and will cost EUR 200-300 million each, said Cseke.
Firms interested in partnering with the state must have a turnover of at least EUR 5 million and a profit of EUR 500,000 per year.
