Urban life and the city, on screen at the UrbanEye Film Festival in Bucharest

29 October 2015

The second edition of UrbanEye, the only film festival in Romania that focuses on the city and the urban life, will take place at Elvira Popescu Cinema in Bucharest between November 11 and November 15.

The event’s program includes movie screenings, talks, debates, workshops, and children events. The same as last year’s edition, the films to be screened during the festival are split into several sections: Recent Heritage, Urbanization, Micro-spaces, and The Life of Architects. This year’s novelty is the Competition Films section, dedicated to movies inspired from the Romanian reality.

Directors such as Eric Andrew Bednarski (Neon, 2014), Adam James Smith (The Land of Many Palaces, 2015), Francesca Molteni (Where Architects Live, 2014), Joe Gilbert (Streets in the Sky, 2015), and Nathan Eddy (The Absent Column, 2012), will also be present at the festival.
