Spirits producer Alexandrion Grup Romania posted a gross turnover of EUR 30.7 million in the first six months of 2015. The net turnover amounted to EUR 10.6 million, up 24% compared to the same period last year. The net profit reached almost EUR 1 million, up 138% year-on-year.

The company paid contributions to the state budget of EUR 17.1 million in this period, up 11.5% year-on-year.

In the first six months of the year, Alexandrion has allocated an investment budget of about EUR 3.3 million. The company also plans to strengthen its position in the external markets. The exports currently accounts for about 5% of the total sales, with Europe being the main export destination.
