Spanish real estate developer exits Romanian market

Spanish real estate developer HL1 Group put up for sale all its assets in Romania to exit the market, reports local Capital.ro.

The company bought before the crisis plots of over 27 hectares in Bucharest and nearby and planned to invest more than EUR 6 billion.

The developer wanted to build thousands of apartments in Romania but finally managed to build only two apartment blocks and two office buildings, part of a project on Delea Veche street, downtown Bucharest.

Last year, the Spanish company put up for sale all its plots for EUR 33.2 million.

Spanish real estate developer HL1 Group put up for sale all its assets in Romania to exit the market, reports local Capital.ro.
