SMEs in Romania can register for state grant program starting next week

Romania’s Business Environment Ministry has announced the start of the Comert 2018 state program through which SMEs can get non-reimbursable funds of up to RON 250,000 (EUR 54,000) from the state budget.

Small and medium companies in Romania can file their applications starting August 21, on the aippimm.ro website.

The program aims to support local SMEs to develop their retail activities. The registration period ends on September 3, 2018.

The state will cover up to 90% of the expenses included in the business plan, up to RON 250,000. The program has a budget of almost RON 50 million (EUR 10.75 million).
