Romanian Anica Muntean is the new manager of Renault's Titu Technical Center in Romania, the only car center site in the country, taking over from Fabrice Jouanny, who had led it for the last four years, the first two covering the construction of the center.

The Titu Technical Center was opened in 2010 and includes dozens of testing areas and the 32 km of track. The center, part of Renault Technologie Roumanie, helps test and validate vehicles in the Entry range for the Renault Group.

Anica Muntean, 48, joined Dacia in 1989 as engineer. After the Renault takeover, she went on to hold various managements jobs in the company. In 2008, she took over the job of Decentralized Vehicles Engineering Direction, coordinating the technical assistance for the factory in Mioveni. She was the only woman leading an engineering department in Romania as well as in Renault Group.

In September 2011, she became technical director of the Titu center.
