Romanian online retailer eMag grows business 52% in six months
Last year, eMag had a turnover of EUR 102 million, up 60 percent compared to 2009, and reported a market share of about 70 percent of the total local market for online electronics and IT of EUR 145 million.
In May this year eMag started selling books, in partnership with distributor Libris, the new category being available on the Marketplace platform, while in August the company entered on the Do-It-Yourself segment.
Along with Asesoft Distribution and Flanco, eMag is part of the group of companies controlled by businessman Iulian Stanciu.
