Romanian artist Dragos Lupan's latest photo exhibition, ‘Ultima Transhumanta’ (roughly translated as last movement of flocks) at the Romanian Peasant Museum, ‘Oaspeti’ hall.  The exhibition will open on Thursday, February 23 at 18:00.

The exhibition is the result of five years of travel, research, photographing and filming. Lupan traveled over 40,000 km in 6 countries, Romania, Albania, Greece, Italy, Great Britain and Turkey. The volume of collected material  totals 100,000 photos, 70 hours of footage and 100 hours of audio recordings. So far, the exhibition has been shown in Britain, Austria, Germany, France, Turkey and Spain.

The photography exhibition will run from February 23 to March 18, 2012, Tuesday to Sunday between 10.00 and 18.00.

Dragos Lupan is a Romanian photographer who has had photo exhibitions in major European cities, such as Venice and London. He also won First Prize for Photography at the CineMAiubit Academy of Theater and Film Festival’s Exhibitions in Bucharest.
