Romanian Competition Council fines Football League
Romania's Competition Council (CC) has fined the Professional Football League (LPF) for selling 2011-2014 football match broadcasting rights without transparent auction.
The League will have to pay EUR 41,000 in fines for having sold the TV broadcasting rights for the First League football matches to Malta-based company Intel Sky Broadcast LTD for 5 years, reports local Agerpes. The company further re-sold these rights to two television stations.
