Romania takes part in International Tourism Fair in Berlin with 50 exhibitors
At Romania's stand, Romanian wines and plum brandy from the Satu Mare area (north-western Romania) will be tasted. Romanian folk music and dances and classical music mini-shows will be performed every day. Craftspeople will also be present to emphasize the Romanian traditional crafts. A specific 'Romanian Night' from the Bucovina area (north-eastern Romania) will be organized on Wednesday, with gastronomic specialties.
The first fair took place in 1966 and Romania first participated in this event in 1970. With over 11,000 exhibitors from 180 countries, the International Tourism Fair in Berlin is regarded as the largest event of this kind in the world.
