Rihanna, Steve Aoki and Sia come to music festival in Romania this summer

International music stars Rihanna, Seve Aoki and Sia will come to Romania for the first time this year to sing for their local fans at a new music festival to take place in Bucharest. Zutopia Music Festival will take place in Constitutiei Square and might be one of the biggest events in Romania this year, considering the first names confirmed.

Famous singer Rihanna will open the festival on August 14, with well-known songs such as Umbrella and Rude Boy being in the playlist.

The rumor that Rihanna might perform in Romania this year first appeared in February, and has now been confirmed by the event’s organizers. The concert is part of the artist’s The Anti World Tour 2016, which promotes Rihanna’s latest album called Anti.

With more than 45 million albums sold worldwide, Rihanna is one of the best-selling artists of all time, with sales exceeding 200 million records worldwide. She has won multiple awards.

American electro house musician Steve Aoki will play in Bucharest on August 15. Aoki has released several Billboard-charting studio albums, For example, his first album Wonderland was nominated for Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronica Album in 2013. He has collaborated with producers and vocalists such as will.i.am, Afrojack, LMFAO, Iggy Azalea, and Lil Jon.

Australian singer Sia will perform in the last day of the festival, on August 17, when her fans in Romania will have the chance to see a live performance of her hits Chandelier and Elastic Heart.

The festival’s lineup also includes Fallulah, Oh Land, and Selah Sue. Tickets for the event are available on eventim.ro starting Tuesday afternoon.
