Peles castle in Romania will not be used for organizing weddings
Gheorghe Fodoreanu had said British tourists have started to ask for weddings and team buildings in Peles and Bran castles in Romania.
Peles Castle, a former summer residence of King Carol I and Queen Elisabeth, became a museum in 1953. In 1975 it was closed down for revamping works and re-opened in 1990. The castle belongs to Romania's Royal Family since 2007, when the state returned the property. The Royal Family has rented back both Peles and Pelisor castles to the Romanian state, in a contract valid until 2013.
