Oxigen Plus wants to sell EUR 2.2 mln of breathing support equipments

Oxigen Plus, a company owned by Gemisa Investments, posted a turnover of EUR 520,000 in the first quarter of the year from selling breathing equipments and plans to reach a total of EUR 2.2 million in revenues for the entire years, the firm has announced. This was a 25 percent increase compared to the same period of 2009, which was mainly due to investments in opening new laboratories and territorial offices. Oxigen Plus, which was set up six years ago, has reached a 70 percent market share on the Romanian market, according to its data.

Last year, the firm generated revenues of EUR 1.8 million, up 28 percent on the previous year. The company is selling and renting breathing equipments for those who suffer from respiratory affections. This year the company plans to introduce ambulatory treatment solutions.

Oxigen Plus is headed by Silvia Stanescu (in picture). Investment fund Gemisa Investments has invested in several local businesses such as Gipo fishery camping and sports equipment retailer, Optical Network, which runs the OptiBlu chain, MiniBlu, Diagnosis medical center, Fleet Management Systems, BIA Human Resources Management Services and Simplu Credit IFN.
