Romanian investor Ovidiu Şandor, founder of Mulberry Development - the developer of the ISHO mixed-use real estate project in Timişoara - won the 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year award from EY Romania.
He will represent Romania in the competition's international final at Monte Carlo.
EY Romania organized on Thursday, February 21, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 Romania gala, where it awarded the best entrepreneurial companies in Romania. Alexandru and Tudor Iliescu, the founders of Mondly, a platform dedicated to learning foreign languages, won the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year: Technology & Innovation prize. EY Romania also awarded a prize for family businesses to the Boromiz family, who run the Boromir milling group.
The jury of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards included Cristi Covaciu, IPEC founder, president of the jury and winner of the 2017 edition, Doina Popescu, Managing Partner, Forevest Capital Partners, Daniel Dines, UiPath CEO, Marius Stefan, Autonom CEO and Vasile Armenean, founder of Betty Ice.
