Orange and Huawei launch Wi-Fi Internet for the car in Romania

Telecom player Orange and Chinese company Huawei will launch in Romania the Wi-Fi on board router, which offers drivers high-speed Internet in their cars.

This will bring real average Internet speed of 60 Mbps, provided through the Orange 4G network.

The Wi-Fi on board router works for cars equipped with a 12V socket. It can be connected to the car’s lighter, can be configured from the smartphone or tablet and offers a rapid connection.

The product costs EUR 15 per month (VAT included) and includes the 4G router, 12 GB of traffic at 60 Mbps speed within the 4G network coverage and access to 16 TV channels.
