New Year brings frosty weather to Romania, as temperatures plummet to -25˚C
The weather will be very cold and frosty throughout Romania from Tuesday, December 30, at 8pm to Friday, January 2, 2015, at 10am, with temperatures dropping to a -25 degrees Celsius minimum in some areas, according to the weather forecast.
The minimum temperatures will go below -15 degrees Celsius and in some areas below -25 degress Celsius during the night, while the daytime maximum temperatures will be between -10 degrees Celsius and 0 degrees Celsius .
In capital Bucharest it will be frosty these days, with the maximum temperature around -7 degrees Celsius, and the minimum between -17 degrees Celsius and -15 degrees Celsius.
