Motorvision HD launches in Romania, broadcasted by Orange TV

Motorvision HD, a TV channel for car fans, has recently launched in Romania. The TV channel, which focuses on cars, engines, lifestyle and motor sports, is offered in Orange TV’s Universal HD package.

Motorvision HD broadcasts the latest shows about launches in the auto world, sports cars, vintage cars, luxury cars, prototypes, and also shows about motorcycles and speed boats. The TV channel also offers information about motorsports competitions, such as the Porsche Carrera Cup, Ferrari Challenge and Superstars World.

Telecom company Orange recently launched its TV service in Romania, with 95 channels, out of which over 40 are in High Definition format. The service is available on the TV set, and on the computer, via satellite and the internet. Orange thus competes with providers such as RCD & RDS, Romtelecom and UPC, which also offer satellite TV services in Romania.

Orange TV is broadcast via the Direct to Home technology (DTH), which allows TV channels to be viewed in a digital system, directly from the satellite.
