MedLife invests EUR 700,000 in new hyperclinic in Romania

Romanian private healthcare operator MedLife has opened a 540-sqm hyperclinic in Braila, South-Eastern Romania, with a EUR 700,000 investment. It is the company’s 19th hyperclinic.

The new unit provides outpatient, imagistic and laboratory services. It has 24 specialties, including neurology, cardiology, gynecology, ultrasound or pediatrics. The team consists of 60 doctors and support staff.

MedLife recorded a turnover of RON 459.1 million (EUR 98.7 million) in the first nine months of this year, up 27% over the same period last year. Its operating profit more than doubled during this period to RON 29.1 million (EUR 6.2 million).
