Romania’s ruling party leader wants stronger partnership with France

Romania and France need to revise the roadmap for their strategic partnership, according to Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Liviu Dragnea.

“We must build a special relationship with France, a partnership in all key sectors – military, economic, social and cultural, which offers the guarantee of a correct and honest collaboration and cooperation, based on mutual respect,” Dragnea said after a meeting with French foreign affairs minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, who was on an official visit in Romania this week.
