CMU secures EUR 18.3 mln financing from Raiffeisen Bank to expand hospitals network
CMU runs four hospitals in Bucharest, a maternity in Bucharest, a hospital in Brasov and 23 polyclinics. It also owns half of the stem cell bank Stem – Health Unirea in Bucharest. The company took over Euroclinic hospital and clinics from Eureko in September last year.
CMU posted an estimated EUR 30 million turnover last year and plans to double it in the next two to three years, according to Romanian media. It is majority owned by investment fund Advent, which took over 80 percent of its shares in march last year. The rest of the shares are owned by founder Wargha Enayati.
