Bucharest City Hall plans to spend an estimated EUR 6 million on flowers, seeds, bulbs and trees in the next 12 months, and an extra EUR 8 million on repairing and maintaining the irrigation systems, according to bid announcements. The amounts are VAT free, and represent the maximum the city hall is willing to spend.

The Bucharest City Hall manages several parks in Bucharest, including Herastrau, Floreasca, Cismigiu, Unirii, Izvor, Tineretului, among others. It also manages the green areas in major Bucharest intersections.
