The National Roads Company CNADNR has awarded a contract of some EUR 13 million, with VAT, to the association Collini Lavori (Italy) - Tecnic Consulting Engineering Romania to revamp the bridge over the Danube at Giurgiu, reports local Capital.ro.

Work includes strengthening the bridge and the access ramp, revamping existing parking spaces and building a new car park in the customs area, as well as building a roundabout. The project was awarded via an open bid, for the lowest price.
