After Boom TV acquisition, Romtelecom buys Akta Satelit
Founded in 2005 by the merger of several cable companies, Digital Cable System (DCS) provides telecommunications services on the Romanian market. DCS' portfolio contains the brands Akta, aimed exclusively at individual consumers and Dial Telecom, dedicated to the business segment. Akta provides telephony services, Internet, cable and satellite television.
Romtelecom also took over Boom TV platform in February this year, for which it made the offer of EUR 8 million. Boom TV had 95,000 subscribers and entered insolvency last summer.
