Seven medals for Romania at the Asian Physics Olympiad in China

Romanian students won seven medals at the 2015 Asian Physics Olympiad organized in Hangzhou, China, between May 3 and May 11. Romania was a special guest at this Olympiad, which is exclusively destined to Asian countries.

Dan Stefan Eniceicu, Tudor Costel Cretu and Cristian Alexandru Frunza got gold this year, after winning silver at the 2014 edition. Ileana Rugina and Andrei Raduc won the silver medals while Gabriel Gaitan and Malin Stanescu got the bronze.

Romanian Ovidiu Mihai Popa also got a distinction, according to the Romanian Ministry of Education.

All winners study at the International Informatics High School in Bucharest.
