Romanian-based transporter Atlassib carries 5% more passengers

16 December 2014

Romania-based Atlassib group had a 5% increase year-on-year in the number of passengers in 2014, when almost 600,000 Romanians travelled to Europe with the buses owned by the company headquartered in Sibiu, said the company's general manager Daniel Micu.

The United Kingdom has been the destination with the most spectacular growth this year, reports local Agerpres. The number of Romanians who went to the UK in 2014 doubled compared to last year.

Spain and Germany are also among the destinations that recorded growth this year. Fewer Romanians travelled to Italy this year, but Italy still remains the most important destination for Atlassib's clients.
