Oracle: Romania is the company’s fourth most important subsidiary in the world, second in Europe

Oracle’s subsidiary in Romania came to be the fourth most important in the world and second in Europe, after the one in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Safra Catz, president of Oracle said during a recent meeting with the Romanian President Traian Basescu (in picture).

During the meeting, Traian Basescu showed his appreciation for Oracle’s investments in Romania, which turned the country into “a global hub of the company and created 2,700 jobs,” reads a statement of the Presidency.

Safra Catz also thanked the Romanian President for the continuous support given to the company since its entering on the Romanian market. Catz will also attend a conference with Romanian lender Banca Transilvania in Bucharest today.
