Online advertising records most dynamic growth rate in Romania

The Romanian advertising market increased last year by 2.6% year-on-year, to EUR 313 million. The digital segment recorded the most dynamic growth rate of all media, namely 10%, according to the report Media Fact Book 2015.

Companies spent last year EUR 51 million on online advertising.

The digital had a 19% share of advertising, whereas TV had a 63% slice, remaining the market leader among various media. Investments in TV advertising amounted to EUR 198 million, up 3% compared to 2013.

The print recorded the biggest decrease, as it went down by 10% to EUR 17 million. The radio market decreased from EUR 19 million to EUR 18 million, whereas outdoor advertising dropped from EUR 28 mln to EUR 27 mln.
