Romanians spent last year some EUR 12.8 million (without VAT) at vending machines, EUR 4.7 million of which to buy coffee.

The market grew by 4.4% in 2014 compared to the previous year, according to market research company Euromonitor, and it will increase by up to 8.8% in the next years, reports local Economica.net.

In 2015, the market will rise by 6.2% over 2014, and it 2016 will go up by 8.8% over 2015.

In 2018, Romanians will spend about EUR 1.73 million at vending machines.

Between 2013 and 2018, the market will increase by 40.7%.

The vending machines that sell hot drinks had sales of EUR 4.7 million last year, above EUR 4.4 million in 2013 or EUR 4.1 million in 2012.
