Telecom company Vodafone Romania will offer free Internet access in the Bucharest underground network for its clients, it has announced. All Vodafone users will be able to surf the Internet freely on their phones, laptops of tablets. The switch to the free Internet browsing session will be done automatically for those who already have mobile Internet services on their devices, Vodafone has said. Those who do not have such services need to call *NET# to activate this option.

Romanian company RCS & RDS has also recently offered its users free internet sessions in the Bucharest underground. Orange Romania too offers free internet to its users in the metro network.
